Re: PEB questions
DDWUSN,
My specialist surgeon is a civilian. He is a wierd dude who doesn't talk much. Not sure if he has even touched my ankle during the last follow-ups. Just keeps saying, I'll be good. I put a call in to his staff to talk with him about writing a prognosis. Depending on what that says, I might not show my MTF doc (0-6 Capt), the prognosis. I am going to ask him for a prognosis. He is an Ortho guy and I am sure he can make that call. Not sure though. He is the one who is going to dictate my MEB and send me to the PEB. I love the guy actually. He asked me before my ankle surgery what I wanted to do. I spent about an hour and a half with the guy talking about quality of life after the Marines and even if with the new CFT coming, how I or other broken Marines are going to handle it. I only hope this PEB will go well. As Jason states, 30% is the key, but again, at this point, severance doesn't sound bad either.
