I think you could always try to locate the IG responsible for either the transition point or St Louis or both. I would think they would be obligated to look into it as you are again a soldier(though be retired) for all practical purposes. That would be my next move, just my 2 cents

You will be loaded in the system on you transition reporting date....usually a day before retirement.....I can give you details as I was just disabled retired in Jan from the army.....7248773000

The P.D.B.R. board probably didn't really send you orders as you call them as order of this nature must be accepted as a legal doc.. In # order this is how the New Board works they notify you with an letter on Army and Navy letter head telling you about the your delightful findings. If you take this paperwork to an ID card place they check the retirement system and bong your not there the Misses is upset and off to the Casa. (house)

(First) Contact the levy or transition point at your old duty post u know the one you chaptered/ets (etc.) Politely ask- tell them about your situation.

The may want to see your docs. so be able to fax, email or take them a copy of the findings you may be calling orders. (2nd) Ms. Preston is the P.O.C. for the process if your old duty station is behind the power curve you might want to keep her phone number handy. Once they get a call, email or fax from Ms. Preston then they cancel or resend your old orders authorizing your original discharge. (3rd) then you go to the RSO in your area or the place you got out at. Contact the Retirements section and they cut your orders after the retirement briefing or maybe before if they can. (4th) you get your ako/my pay set up during the brief you grab food for the family and off you go money on the way. If you don't sign for your orders you don't get your orders did you sign the DD form?

I am attaching the contact # docs for the forums use. This is the procedure for the New P.D.B.R. only. ID cards issued with orders or their after. Your big posts like Drum,HOOD and Brag know this as info comes from Ms. Preston and the heads of these Retirement installations. Ms. Preston puts you on the retirement system once her office H.R.C. receives your P.D.B.R. finding-Sir/Ma'am. Nothing can be done if H.R.C. doesn't put you on the LIST>>
