First I would like to say Thank you to all who are either currently serving or who have served. I am a wife of a disabled veteran, our story is quite long but I will be as brief as possible... In 04 my husband got injured his deployment ended in 05. By Aug of 05, he went through the Meb process and by July of 06 the PEB process. He elected NOT to receive the severance pay and awaited his VA rating.. In Nov 06 DFAS started paying the severance anyways. In Dec 06 we returned the money ...
