 Def. of 20 years Federal Service
What qualifies as "20 years of active Federal Service" when it pretains to the Disability Retirement System? I have 24 yrs in the Army National Guard with 2.5 yrs of it considered active from deployments. (Iraq and others). I have my 20 year letter. Currently going threw a MMRB. If I end up at a PEB and get a rating of 0% to 29% how would it get calculated? If I get rated at 30% or more how would it get calculated?
