MY pcm just submitted me for a
MEB. I am seeing a off base DR. NONE of the base medical records reflect the treatment by the off base DR. yet, just that i was referred off base. I told my DR. I am hypo Pituitary, thyroid, gonad, and have low growth hormone and might possibly have Addisons disease. I am on weekly testosterone injections, daily growth hormone injections, and daily synthroid for my thyroid.
In 96 i was diagnosed PPD positive (Turburculosis) inactive. 30% of Addisons patients TB is the cause.
I have blood wor done to monitor my levels every 2-3 months. MT Base PCM is saying im "undeployable" since he doesnt want me to have to choose between my meds and deploying. And put me in for a med board.
Does anyone have a clue what might happen? My peblo believes they will just RTD with class C 1, 2,or 3 restrictions.
Anyone have any idea's on what might happen?
i have 18.5 yrs in the AF, putting on E-7 in Nov. Not sure if i want out of the military in this economy, but all the BS i have been going thru the last few years sure is making me think hard bout taking an early retirement if offered.
thanks in advance,
Joe
