    Question on PDRB eligibility dates.

Good advice. I accepted the IPEB. I was hoping the PDBR would have been extended to include my case. I will have to file with the AF BCMR. Its a one time shot. Its going to have to be perfect. Hopefully I win.

    Question on PDRB eligibility dates.

I was honorably discharged, 10% w/ severance. After I was separated the VA rated me 90% based off of the same set of records. That's what 10 faithful years in the USAF will get you; and interest free loan you have to pay back with your disability compensation and a complete and total end to...

    Question on PDRB eligibility dates.

I emailed the PDBR asking if there were any exceptions or if I was in fact eligible for a review. This is their reply as of today... Sir/Ma'am, Unfortunately, based on your email information you are ineligible for the Physical Disability Board of Review (PDBR) because you were discharged...

AF IPEB 100%, VA 100%, CRSC

That sucks your PEBLO was horrible. So was mine. I'm glad they didn't shaft you at the IPEB. You can pretty much do whatever you want now. File SSDI and back date it to the date of the incident, you can collect that while you're on active regardless of if you were still getting paid. Also...

    Question on PDRB eligibility dates.

Does anyone know if this WAS extended? "Medical separation 20% or less where member did not retire finalized between September 11, 2001 and December 31, 2009 (may be extended)." My IPEB 10% w/ severance was in November 2010. EPS1717 VA 100% SC P&T

    Separation Pay Recoupment

I got this letter today regarding severance pay pay back. They haven't taken a dime to this day AND this letter makes 100% ZERO SENSE which leads me to believe they do not do any form of random drug testing on VA employees.

    Separation Pay Recoupment

I appreciate the input. According to the letter last week, 100% TDIU and P&T with all of the Chapter 35 benefits information and a letter to go and get an ID Card for commissary and exchange privileges with an expiration date of indefinite. So I am assuming based on that it is P&T but probably...

    Separation Pay Recoupment

I was not IDES. And Jason, I see what you're saying, for me the 50k severance isn't about dollar amounts. I don't care when its paid back to be honest. Bottom line was that it was essentially an interest free loan from the government that they were going to recollect. What I am concerned...

I think Roxyewp is out of control and needs to take a step back and a deep breath.

    Separation Pay Recoupment

My 10% rating was from the US Air Force MEB not the VA.

The VA, USAF, and Unemployment Office have me in one hell of a mess I could not even imagine myself.

Calculating years to repay Severance Pay to VA

I was rated 10% by the military for major depressive disorder, mild, in partial remission. I got disability severance, and a discharge after ten years of active duty. After I got out the VA rated me for PTSD and major depressive disorder combined at 70% (my total rating was 90%) and last week...

    Separation Pay Recoupment

10% is what the MILITARY rated me when I was discharged. Just to be clear, is the disability severance pay recouped based on the DISABILITY RATING given by the MILITARY? I was MEB'd and discharged w/ a rating of 10% and then AFTER I was discharged I was rated 70% by the VA for the same...
