Attached is the DOD Instruction covering the new 10 USC 1554a Board for those separated since Sept. 11, 2001 for physical disability.

I will follow up with some posts once I have had a chance to review thoroughly.

I think that is GREAT. i was blown up in IRAQ in 2003 got med'd in 04 with a 10% and got out. 3 months later i was at 80% with the V.A. if u hear anything on this matter PLEASE send me an email on how to apply for this. Thank you.

Why did the VASRD ever require "interpretation" by the services? Let's be frank here, the Army and the Marine Corps feel that the VASRD is too liberal for their use and they just decided to alter it. Nice, as usual, these people altered a federal law to screw the troops over. How is that this country has literally "found" trillions of dollars (I think we are over the one trillion mark now) to fund the war in iraq yet when it comes to taking care of us war veterans they can't find a few billion? I'll be putting in my case for review by this board and I can only hope that they decide to do the right thing. I'm not going to hold my breath though.
