Thank you for this website, so helpful!
I am trying to help my husband, and would like to ask some questions about the process.
Once the Army found in a pre-deployment physical that he was not deployable, gave him a permanent profile, that disqualified him for duty, and recommended him for the
MEB/PEB process, what should be expected? I have been reading the regs, and on this website, and what has been happening to him doesn't match.
He was told he wouldn't get a PEBLO, it took a year to get a fit for duty physical, and is awaiting an appointment for
MEB at Ft Knox. I don't understand what part of the process he is in. His unit is of no help whatsoever. They are treating him like --- well like dog****. He has gotten no guidance from anyone, but was smart enough not to sign the waiver for
meb board. He was recently rated 80% service connected at the VA
Is the process different for reservists?
Thanks for your help
