Looking through this forum I see a lot of reference to the IDES dashboard and frustration. This is to clear up questions and misunderstandings with the MEB Dashboard for Army Soldiers who may misunderstand what information it actually provides. Please feel free to comment or critique. I do hope this helps. This picture is from my dashboard for reference. The MEB Dashboard updates Monday night at 2400 giving new information. Regardless of when you go to a new step it will not reflect until the following Tuesday but does update the date correctly.

Going from top left to bottom right and skipping the obvious ones.
Dashboard.JPG
Days Remaining: Days left in process according to Army Average time in IDES process. Updates monthly due to average change.

Current Step: Where you actually are in the process

Days behind Schedule: How far behind/ahead of schedule you are from the GOAL TIMELINE

Start Date: when you were entered into the IDES process

GOAL FINISH: When you would be complete with IDES process IF you followed the Goal timeline of 295 days

Estimated Finish Date/s: This date changes in accordance with where you currently are in the IDES process PLUS the remaining days under the ARMY AVERAGE COLUMN. This is why this date changes so much.

Reported Date: when the information was pulled up i.e. today’s date

Expected Step: This is where you would/should be if you followed the GOAL column (basically useless after the process gets going and serves to show you where you could be.)

Current Step: where you currently are in the IDES process.

Completed step within goal: Did this step get completed within Goal column time

GOAL Column: Army number of days goal for each step

Actual: actual days in step your process took or has taken

Delta from Goal: Number of days deviation from Army’s goal days

Army Average: Updated monthly, average days for all army soldiers in IDES to complete this portion in IDES

Delta from Army Average: Number of days deviation from Army’s Average days

Overall IDES Process: Total days by column, Army average days day totals update and affect the estimated finish date/s

Pretty interesting board. Where did you get this one from . I'm asking because I'm not getting any information like that from ebenefit.

It is on AKO. Under self service, My MEB is the tab to click. Only works with a CAC card though.

I just learned something today. I never knew about that on AKO. I will definitely take a look on it tomorrow at work. Thanks

Went to the briefing and wasn't told about something like that on AKO. Are you still waiting on your rating? I see you haven't signed your 1099 yet.

I was told to "expect" my 199 this week. I won't hold my breath though. The dashboard is only available if your in the system. I think if I remember correctly it was available shortly after my in-brief. The in-brief never actually mentioned it to me either. I knew about it from having Soldiers that went through a MEB.

So it's Tuesday morning and the dashboard is updated. In the new picture you can see that my estimated finish date/s have changed by a few days. This is because my actual days in the system have changed AND the Army average number of days have changed. This is normal, however many on this forum get quite frustrated when those days change. An additional note. Each subject line (VA Claims, Medical Exam, etc) can be clicked on. It will open a pop up window that will show you the time it took for people to do that step in your CO/TRP/BAT level. It can be useful but each case is different. I would not expect myself with 57 claimed issues to move at the same pace as someone with 6 claimed issues. I do hope this continues to help.Dashboard 2.jpg

Oh yes it does definitely help. I couldn't find anything on mine because my case is actually closed and will be reopen in about 2 weeks. that's the timeframe provider gave me. I had a surgery and it caused a big delay to my case.

and signed my 199 Thursday (7th).

It has had moments where I thought it would never end. However, I have been lucky, some timelines on here span over a year plus. Now with the Christmas leave about to start I know for two weeks the whole army is going to shut down, so that may extend my wait for orders a bit.

This is interesting because we are at Fort Irwin also and I'm curious if the MEB will go as quickly as yours. Congratulations on your 199

Christmas leave didn't slow anything down. I had to come in on leave and get my request for orders signed. I am clearing post now. Final out on 26 Jan. My timeline is updated on the signature block.
