Default Need some advice

I am 48 years old, an E-9 with 12 active and 26 total in the NG. I am finishing a year on ADSW orders with another year pending. I was wounded 3 times in combat 1- OIF-1 and 2 OEF-4. I have a 100% rating from the VA for 5 items.
Question, how do I go about requesting a early medical retirerment?

CSM/SGM
We need more information. What is the nature of your conditions and are they preventing you from performing your duties? A Soldier ordinarily cannot refer themselves. A doctor or your commander can reccomend you for a MMRB/MEB. You must get evaluated by someone with the authority to start the process. Are you at the 35 year threshold for RCP? I count a total of 38 years of service.

Thanks for the reply, VA rating 30% TBI, 30% fusions to upper back C4-7 both from IEDs, 20% hearing, 10% Left nerve damage to arm, 20% fusion of big toe to foot. I have some kind of lung problem lost 30% of lung ability. I never smoked a day in my life. They the VA thinks it was from all the dust. That is another 30%. All combat related or from being in-country.
I had a MRB before going back to M-day (ADSW for a year) and they at Fort Campbell said I was OK to perform a SGMs job. Funny because the VA just told me I need 6 months of nuro-therapy for the TBI.
I have about 11 years total active duty. I have a 20 year letter plus 6 more so its 26 in the guard. I can get my commander or a doc to recommand me for a MRB and I am sure from AR 40.. I will be discharged but what kind of pension will I get. Because with this TBI and other things it is getting pretty hard to get the job done as I should be doing it. With the way things are going with me I could be gone before I hit 60.

Stay on orders if you can.

Stay on orders and have your unit refer you to MRP and the WTU at the closest station to your HOR. You will be able to stay under orders while you receive treatment. You will also have either 6 or 12 months to recover to the point that you cannot get any better and then your case mngr or PCM will recommend you for a med board.
