easy it was all done on the day I went to the retirement office, and I went a week before my retirement started. I got the Tricare ID cards for my kids online at milconnect. My daughter got a ID card at another base near her collage. So no problems if done in person with orders in hand.

That's interesting, I have never had a problem with a "final" DD214 and if there is a way to get one I would love to know the process.

Not all just the records summaries... Doctors notes that I had been given by the CBWTU, 80 pages is not that much my file is about 7 inches thick.. and only about the final treatments and dispositions none of the surgery or rehab notes. Basically the final stuff that went to the MEB/PEB.

Vince what exactly are you looking for? I basically cut and pasted each condition from the DA 199 into the DD 2860, then attached all of the VA paperwork, the DA 199 and Med Board paperwork and sent it in. They sent me an email when HRC got it and I got my determination in about 30 days at 100%...

I found most of the SSDI exams to be on the mickey mouse level. My Physical one lasted about 5 minutes after waiting for two hours to get in, then the pysch one lasted about 15 minutes after waiting 3 hours to get in. Oh and by the way first time NOGO at these stations and I am 100% permanent...
