I have been talking about this for awhile. Blogs are here!
I will eventually be restricting this to those who have posted (as an anti-spam effort). But for now, if you are registered, you can blog! Up in the navigation bar, you will find the link.
The idea is to have a place where you can write things that you don't neccesary want an answer to (which is better suited for the forums).
I hope this is a usefule feature. The thanks go to those who have donated to this site. Thank you to those folks, as well as to those of you who are faithful posters. Both groups are vital to this community.

Jason, that's a great feature. It looks like you can set it to not receive comments on anything you post in your blog if you don't feel like you want anyone to respond too. There are quite a few options to play around with in the Blog Control Panel, including giving your blog a title and description.
To start your blog, just go to Your Blog on the left side of the screen in the options, and once you click that you'll have an option to post to your blog, it'll have an icon next to that option that looks like a little pencil.

Guy,
Do I sense a "How-To" or "Make it your own" post coming up?

It's like you know. It looks like there's a ton of stuff you can do there, it looks as customizable as the forum, so it'll take some digging around to find out all the cool stuff to do it on.

I have disabled the blogs use and PMing, for those who have not posted at least once. This is to cut down on spam from automated programs. If you think you should have access, either post, or send me an e-mail on the contact link.
Thanks!

I noticed that the blogs have not gotten much use...I think I figured out why Looks like the function was disabled for most members. If you go to your own profile, or to the Blogs link in the navigation bar, you should find the blog panel on the left side. You should be able to blog from there! Please let me know any questions.
