What was there reasoning for saying gout was fitting cant imagine it, im having attacks every two weeks with a 7 day recover time, that would be crazy
In my research, Gout was unfitting 10 years ago, now its is not, it can be controlled. I have had major attackes 4-7 time a year for the last 4 years with a covery time of about 2 weeks. I have alot more mini attackes and would be worse in not on meds. If your doc can put it as unfitting, go for it. You never know.
I went to a PEB with gout as a fitting condition. My unfitting was my Knee. I got 10% unfitting for knee, 40% for my gout from VA plus 50% for others stuff.
