Dec 5, 2012 QA team sent back corrected NARSUM
Jan 23, 2013 PEBLO had NARSUM ready for signature
Feb 25, 2013 received unfit memo from PEB file sent to DRAS
Sep 10, 2013 DRAS rated contacted me an let me know they were going to begin my ratings
Oct 10, 2013 DRAS sent file back to PEBLO and NARSUM amendment for CAD
Oct 15, 2013 NARSUM amendment returned to PEBLO
    Oct 17, 2013 199 received

    Findings DoD 40% VA 100%

Four conditions left off that we're not evaluated by QTC (specialty diagnosis). Not likely these conditions will be found unfitting.

Going to talk to the MEB counsel to see if I should request that TBI be found unfitting since two conditions directly related to TBI have be found unfitting.

1432 days from arrival at WTU until 199 completed

WOW! And I thought I had spent a lot of time getting through this process!

    I spent a total of almost 4 yrs. 9 mths. between WTU & CB-WTU - that's from Day 1 to discharge (PDRL).

Gosh, and you still have more time to go!

    Hang in there Buddy.

Are you satisfied your 199 is accurate and complete?

My 199 is not accurate, however I will need to think about whether or not it will be worth it to carry this out any further.

My condition(s) are not combat related. I'll need to do some mathematical calculation(s) to see if I will pursue a informal PEB and/or one time VA reconsideration.

What is next on my radar is to see whether or not I am on a centralized promotion list and if I will be promoted on my last day.

Since I have proposed ratings I will immediately try to initiate chapter 35 for my children in college.

I begin Voc Rehab on Monday so everything is coming full circle.

    100% VA
    40% DoD
    SSDI recipient
    Voc Rehab
    Chapter 35 for dependents
Cal Vet tuition waiver for dependents
20 year letter, CDRP at reserve retirement age minus 6/7 years (depending on final out date)
No more CBWTU and calling into a phone recorder that will never be answered daily
