I will keep you all informed, however, your case may be faster than mine as I just found out that I have to have emergency surgery. This wasn't even one of my listed conditions. But due to Medical TDY, I wasn't able to review or sign a NARSUM yet, even if it is ready. I'll update my status!

Your Timeline is almost exactly like mine. I hope that we both go fast. Only thing is the Navy submitted my PEB for 21 items including 3 knee surgeries, Crohn's Disease, Testicular surgery, PTSD, OCD, Depression, among alot of small things, so I think that mine will take alittle longer, but I would like to be home by Christmans, and if we get a good amount than all the crap they put us thru is worth it. Good luck bud. Antonio

    Update:
Mar 19, 2012-referred to MEB by Ortho for patellofemoral pain syndrome after closed stress fracture (don't know why MEB was referred as I have had more serious, ongoing medical conditions for over a year)
Mar 30-met with MEB Case Manager
Apr 24-visited with MEB DOC-to turn in 2807 and ERB
    Apr 30-issued "permanent" P3 profile
    May 3-met with PEBLO
    May 4-met with VA MSC-
    May 11-began VA C&P exams-
    May-30-completed C&P exams
June-8-notified by PEBLO that she needs my Commander's Statement within 2 days; it was requested on 02 MAY 2012
June 13-notified by PEBLO that statement was received-NARSUM requested
June 25-Emergency Surgery for gallbladder removal (was told that I would have to wait to start a new VA claim after current MEB is adjudicated since it is a fitting condition).
July 27-Narsum appointment (well briefing about NARSUM-not appointment and was told that my NARSUM would be written up and ready in a MONTH).

Here is the thing: The VA C&P exams were wayyyyyy off on a main unfitting condition (NOT REFERRED) that I have been seeing specialists for for over a 1 1/2 year period. How could one 2-minute assessment try to change what specialists and experts have diagnosed? I was also told that there is a new regulation, in which the VA exam is the only diagnosis that matters. I wonder what else can I do besides appeal when I do finally get my NARSUM back.

You can request to talk to the doc that is completing your NARSUM before he/she completes it. I had some similar issues as well and a discussion with my PCM did the trick. The NARSUM still ended up with a few errors, but I let the PEBLO know that it needed to be corrected before I would sign, so he called my doc while I was sitting there and the new (correct) NARSUM was there for me the next day.

Thanks, for the response!! I definitely will do just that, however, I don't know how the new reg regarding VA results being the main factor will weigh in. The difference could mean an fit condition, when it should be a unfit condition.
