Can someone explain the details about TDRL appointments in an outside country. I assume it would be conducted at an embassy. Another pickle is that during my first TDRL appointment (in England) my work visa will not have gone through and I will probably be on a tourist visa. I'm nervous they will not want to cater to me as a visitor. Thanks

I've never delt with your situation but I doubt an embasy would have enough medical capacity to do an evaluation. Your service should cut orders to direct you to the nearest MTF with whatever specialist you need to be seen by.

Do you have a case worker or contact number to call for info?

I think it will depend on the resources of the embassy you go to, but I have heard of this being done through embassies overseas. I don't think that your status in the foreign nation could/would impact how the US Embassy treats you. Plus, this is not an immigration type matter, it is a government services section matter.

New Members- Read OVERVIEW OF MEB/PEB PROCESS

So it seems that my brother who is expecting his first TDRL eval and also living in England has just received orders to be flown back stateside. We will be living together so I assume the same for me. I will update this in the future when round 2 is nearing. Thanks for the reply's and information everyone.
