hello all i was here quite often before i seperated back in may, honorable discharge. I was told by 4 different dr's including 2 specialists that i was being put through an meb the problem was that i was coming up on my ETS the case worker i was given was a lady from hell and she basically told me that they werent going to extend me that i would have to re-enlist or go be the va's problem. I was in so much pain in my back (that i still have) i didn't think i could do my job anymore (i was also diagnosed with depression which i think is from the pain as well as having a sleep test for sleep apnea) so i elected to separate. I went and did my va testing for disability and now im waiting to be rated. My issue is looking back at it i feel very cheated and irrate at the situation, why didn't they help me? the dr even wrote on my seperation physical "meb pending and appropriate". looking through all the information here the best idea i can get is to appeal to the BCMR but what would i even be appealling to change? to get my record changed to reflect a medical discharge? what step would i take to fight this if i can at all?
