IPEB Memo

Received the IPEB memo today from my PEBLO. States unfitting: PTSD and major depressive disorder recurrent.

From what I've read and heard, it's difficult to go straight to PDR with behavioral healthl issues, but I've been treated for this for approximately 5 years. Does the usage of "recurrent" indicate possible placement to PDR? Or is it standard verbiage on a diagnosis stating simply, SM consistently suffers from PTSD and depression? And straight to TDRL...

In most cases, TDRL. The goal of TDRL is to evaluate whether you get better, worse, or stable during the evaluation periods.

If it is as you describe, keeping regular appointments with the VA or DoD should show stable through the eval period and get you to PDRL.
