CVMA544 - retirement has no effect on eligibility for TGSLI, but the date and severity of the event does. PM me with you service component, date and extent of injury and I will get you the right determination.CSM493,
Okay, question. I recently was rated by the IPEB and my PEBLO included a TSGLI packet for me to fill out and submit after I am on TDRL.
Although I was injured in Iraq, it was not the direct result of enemy action, I take it from reading the packet it is for all injuries regardless of origin?
Is it commom for people that are retired medically to file and be found entitled to a claim?
Ican PM you with more specfics if needed, as I am rather curious about the TSGLI benefits for medical retirees.
Thanks
