Default VSI

Tomorrow we have an appointment for the above and I am having a real hard time understanding it. My husband was injured in OIF. We applied for the VA Disability back in July. He has had a couple of Rating appointments this last couple of weeks. But we are really confused on the above.

Basically what is it? Is the VA Disability?

I would need more info to tell for sure.

Voluntary Separation Incentive is also offset from VA compensation. This may be what the meeting is about.

Did you mean VSO? Veterans Service Organization.

Nope it is a VSI. Why would we would be offered this? I read online it has to do with years of service and rank. My husband is on TDRL but that started at the end of September. Very confusing...

Seems strange. Wouldn't be the first time that they made an error in mixing up someone's records. Maybe that is what it is....

It would be great if you could tell us what this is all about.

The VSI is the disability rating appointment...which I have to say was rather lengthy. The doctor was about 45 minutes behind schedule. Then she pretty much covered my husbands entire body. The she did a physical. She made 4 more rating appointments for my husband to go through before we get a number.
