Welcome to the Physical Evaluation Board Forum!

This site is dedicated to Servicemembers going through the Physical Disability Evaluation System (PDES). I am a former Soldiers' Counsel and US Army Judge Advocate who has represented hundreds of Soldiers at Formal Physical Evaluation Boards. After I left the Army, I decided to create this site in order to provide information to Servicemembers going through the PDES and to offer an area to discuss their concerns. I continue to practice law in this area and represent Servicemembers from all branches at the PEB. In my experience practicing law at the PEB, I have noticed that there is a lot of misinformation and misunderstanding of the process as it exists now. I also created this site to discuss some of the shortcomings in the system and some of the likely changes in the PDES in light of recent publicity regarding failures in the process. I hope this site helps those going through the process make informed decisions.
