So, I have orders with RNLTD in late Oct. I have an issue that my PCM has chosen to send to the DAWG. It's been a reccurent thing that doesnt seem to improve at all. Cant say I disagree with going to the DAWG, but my question is, does a code 31 keep me from PCSing? It expires 6 months from now and I'll probably end up going to a MEB. In VMPFi it says "temporary disqualified from WW duty." On my profile it specifically says no PSC. I mean it sounds like common sense but I dont know where to go from here. Do I keep out processing or what?

From AFI 36-2110:

"Table 2.1:

[Code 31]:

Temporary disqualification for worldwide duty, including PCS (nonmobility profile). Date of availability in AF From 469, Duty Limiting Condition Report, section IV (not to exceed 12 months from date medial problem incurred), or expiration of medical hold imposed by HQ AFPC/DPAMM. See notes 7 and 8."

I would not plan on outprocessing prior to resolution of your MEB/PEB.

If you’re going to be placed in an MEB they’ll code you 37. That should stop a PCS although a 31 should also...

If you get a 37, the way i interpreted the reg was it is supposed to remove the code 31 as the 37 is more restrictive. That did not happen for me. For the duration of my MEB i had a 31 and 37 code which was to my detriment.
