I was also boarded for MH reasons and was terrified they would report me to the Board of Nursing. I worked very hard for my license and did not want to lose it. I was given 70% PDRL from the DOD for MDD and anxiety. I did not work with patients during my board because of my diagnosis and mental state. I thought after I got out I would be able to work because i would no longer have the stress related to the military. However that has not been the case. My anxiety has made it very difficult to work. I am unable to work full time. I work just a few days a month. Thankfully I have a very understanding employer who works with me. I want to work and feel it does help me from being isolated. Don't worry too much about your license, concentrate on getting through the process and your treatment plan. I know its hard when you have a family to consider. Good luck.
