100% VA and 100% military????

I was 100 va and 20 dod. I just got increase to 100 for the 20 percent illness that they gave me that sent me to a medically board in the first place. My question is what happens now. I’m 100/100 P&T disabled. They also gave a monthly Special compensation. It gave me a back pay date of 05/01/2018 and the amount is 3494.51. Will I get back pay from 05/01/2018 until now and will I get this benefit amount a month. Plus how does it work now that I am 100/100 for both Va and DOD.

Your retroactive pay question has been answered at LINK <—-

From the info you have posted, your 20% determination by the DoD has not changed; your VA rating has changed.

Your 20% DoD rate can be changed only through a correction to military records. Others might comment on this with additional info.
