22yrs AD found unfit 12 conditions by MEB. I have 46 total conditions for VA to consider. VA Exams complete. MEB Counsel states I would be better off to retire & get CRDP then going through PEB. Thoughts?

I am a regular retiree so I have little knowledge about PEB. I am a numbers guy.

IF you receive a medical retirement, the CRDP will not cover the waived retired pay that is in excess of the longevity portion of retirement pay.

Personally, for those eligible for immediate CRDP, I see no benefit taking a medical retirement. You are already qualified for Tricare.
