My Timeline - Currently Waiting on VA for Ratings

They were all documented. Not sure if you checked during the early stages of this process but initially all your claims were listed. At some point they all disappear…when they reappear it’ll be under the closed section.

Yea I did, mine are still missing. I was unfit nov 3rd, hoping today or next week I see them in closed bc right now I see nothing and I’m worried bc some of my stuff wasn’t documented.

Its ok if it goes missing, the VA hasn't lost it, or got rid of it, that's just how their system is, a strong myth about that is that when they dissappear and re appear, a VA rater is working on it and they don't want you adding things while they are knee deep in your claim but thats a unproven myth. The VA is a very busy place and lots and lots of new folks, and millions of new Pact Act claims to deal with, so if you leave the VA alone they will leave you Alone.

yeah, I emailed my MSC and haven't heard back. Thinking about reaching out to my IDES lawyer but I don't really know what she'll be able to do vs. my PEBLO or MSC.
Yeah I haven’t talked to my lawyer in a while but he doesn’t get many updates other than the amount of days at each step.

My MSC was the first one to know when my ratings were done. The other two had no clue till the findings came in a week later

Actually only talked to them twice and I had to initiate contact. I happened to see that my claim closed on the VA website on the same day they finished my ratings. So I reached out immediately and got it confirmed

Until the rating is done, no one will tell you anything regarding its progress unfortunately. No one knows

all I got from my last communication "Right now, the VA is extremely backed up and are working the cases as fast as they can. We still have some pending from the end of October. I am unable to give a timeline of when it will be completed, but you can always email me and ask for an update in a few weeks."

Yep they have no idea

I just received my ratings on the 26th, I have until the 10th to sign them. I plan on appealing due to the fact that I am so close to retirement, which is june 10th for my 20 year mark. Anybody know how long appeals to the formal board are taking? I was told it would be 9 to 12 weeks until an actual hearing.

I'm also wondering about time like for how long I would get an EAS after the appeal and what the time line would look like to retirement.

I would plan on 2-3 months for the formal board. EAS depends on what service you’re in. Navy is supposedly 45-60 days after signing findings to get message traffic from PERS. I know the other branches are more like a matter of weeks.
