  • I had an office job, but I was medically retired because I couldn't take a stateside assignment.
I am in intel right now, but I used to be a crew chief and i just retrained so my command really doesn't know much about my situation. Unfortunately in the crew chief world the commander really only knows you if you get in trouble so asking him would do no good. I have been looking though the boards for a while now and my pcm just started the meb on me so I know my commands will be coming up soon just wanted to kinda get a jump on the whole deal. I have l4/l5 large bilateral disk bulge mild bulge above and below. left greater than right leg paralysis and bone spurs. I'm just worried that they may find me fit since it is an office job. I've been told by neuro, pcm ,and pain management I need surgery but I don't want to get screwed bc i would perfer to wait. they make you feel like if you say no to surgery it's the end of the line for help. I hope you get this it would be nice to have someone who can relate and share advice with thanks for your time. let me know if you get this
I don't have a commanders letter. I do know that my commander and 1st SGT had paper work to fill out regarding my ability to work and do my job. That was included in the MEB/PEB paperwork at the PEBLO level. I don't have the copies of thier statements. I believe that made the difference.
What's going on with you? Let me know you get this? I'll give you more info...
