It's Official: Final Placement onto the DoD PDRL is Approved via the Secretary of the Army!

I’m glad to hear that your hard work and perseverance paid off in the end. I wish the Navy had an HRC site that would allow us to check our TDRL status. After my initial re-eval, I got told by the TDRL coordinator that if I didn’t hear anything with in a month or so, to just assume I was still...

    SCAADL after retirement.

Ok, I finally got it figured out (I think). While Active duty your branch of service submits the allowance of SCAADL to DFAS for payment to your account. It's automatic each month once it's started. After you retire it has to be done manually each month. Your branch keeps track of it, and...

    SCAADL after retirement.

Guess not many people have been in this situation.

    SCAADL after retirement.

You are correct. I am on the TDRL as of Aug 29th. But my SH coordinator and the SCAADL program both state you are able to continue receiving SCAADL for 90 days

    SCAADL after retirement.

Hey guys, I have been receiving SCAADL for about 6 months prior to my medical retirement. I was recertified prior to my retirement date and my wounded warrior rep told me that I was all set to received it for 90 days or until something else changes my entitlement (I.e. VA caregiver program, or...

    PERS Contact Info

Anyone Navy people get a message from PERS with a TRDL date, if there is a POC on the message, can you provide it? I am just trying to track down my status in PERS, so I can make arrangements for my wife and kids for a living situations. Thanks!

Finalized PEB to TRDL Message Timeline?

@Gunner1210 did you pick June 27th or was that the date given to you? I just found out today that my case was finalized on Jun 10th, so PERS should have the info now. I am ready for this to be done!

    Post-Separation/Moving question

I believe you have up to 1 year to move on the DoD's dime. After that its on you.

    Dependent SSDI question

I applied at the start of the PEB process. I did not use a lawyer, and I got approved on my first try. The biggest thing to do is mention you are a wounded warrior, and to make sure you provide access to all the medical records they need. I signed releases for the Local hospital, my branch...

    Dependent SSDI question

I named my wife as the payee. We also got backpay for my children. And its 50% divided among your dependents. (Or higher like gsfowler said) So in my case, I claimed all my children (all 6) and I get a set amount for them, just smaller number, but every year that a child is no longer...

Finalized PEB to TRDL Message Timeline?

I will. I am guessing like they told you, that the PEB sends them in groups to millington.

    Need a little help here

I agree. Can they tell you when they received it? If so, you might ask if they can dig in and see if somethings missing. I am guessing the people you are talking to are only scratching the surface and are not actually looking into the full case file.

    Need a little help here

I only saw an IDES claim when I submitted a VARR. Otherwise, only my original claim showed in ebenefits until the VA was done rating my PEB unfit conditions. Thats when the historical claim showed up. The PEB received my package Nov 29 2015, the findings were sent to the VA Feb 8th 2016 for...

Finalized PEB to TRDL Message Timeline?

Ok, so I accepted my findings on APR 25th. I did put in a VARR, but I know the VA is done (no changes) and they have forwarded it back to the PEB (May 15th). From this point does anyone have any experience with how long it takes for PERS to send out the TRDL message? My wife and I are ready...
