    DDD and Radiculopathy MEB

Once QTC puts them all together, which can take up to 10 days, then they will send to your MSC who will let the PEBLO know that they are complete. At that time your PEBLO will get a NARSUM doc to set up time for yall to go over everything.

    Medical Retirement..

The NLT date is only there to say that you HAVE to be complete (leave ends) and out of the military by that day at the very latest. Since you are being retired then you should have had a conversation with Retirement Services and set a date on when your Ceremony will be and when you will...

    Recent PDA Timeline

VA is their own beast. Only thing you can really do is see if your PEBLO can ask the PEB to ask for a update on why it is taking so long, and you can ask your VA MSC to look in system to see if the VA has been requesting any extra information from the medical providers, which causes a lot of...

    Letter of Release

Expect 8 weeks for PDA to process your packet. That is what they are putting out as their average right now. IF you get a Approved Expedited letter (your commander isn't the approval or high enough to say yes/no but helps show/tell why you need it. It will come from the PEB or PDA with their...

    West Point Timeline

Sadly it most likely will. You are looking at 2 to 4 weeks for PEB to say "unfit", then 2 to 6 weeks for VA, and then another 2 to 4 weeks for PEB to do your DA-199. Then after that is done the PDA is taking average 8 weeks right now to process packets for people to start clearing.

    West Point Timeline

Not a problem! Yeah it is better than ebenefits because it updates real time and not lagged like the other. But it is only useful when you have a open case with them, and when not then ebenefits is the best site for everything. Glad I could help pass along good information as I have found and...

    West Point Timeline

Just friendly advice. Ebenefits is pointless until your packet is actually at the VA. And it is really not helpful until you are complete and give your 214 to the VA MSC for them to finish your claim, then Ebenefits will show everything. Best site for tracking your status once your packet goes...

    Unfit memo

If you go to your CIF they will (should) have a copy of the memo they require for you to clear early. CIF and SFL-TAP are the only things you can knock out before you actually have orders in hand. Your unit might let you pretty much clear them but you won't be able to clear anything post wise...

    Duty restrictions while undergoing MEB?

Your unit can use you for anything they want if it's within the limits of your profile. If you have a medical appointment (C&P exam), paperwork to sign (Narsum or 199) then your unit will have to ensure you are given time to do so, because those have time limits on them. If it is for C&P exams...

Average time out after recieving orders?

The 90 day No Later Than window starts when you get put onto TRANSPROC list not when you sign 199(accepting ratings). Because if that was the case then some would be past that time before they even get their orders to clear.

    VA Ratings received..... what's next???

If I was you I would call/email/go see your PEBLO and see if they have received your 199 from the PEB. If they haven't you can ask them to make sure the PEB is working on it still and that your ratings have been completed since May 18th. Some people take days to weeks after VA has completed for...

Degenerative Arthritis of the Lumbar Spine

I was rated for what your referring too and they only go off a 10, 20, or 40% rating for the lower back. So your range of motion is the big tell on which you will be getting. I can tell you from my own experience and a buddy who also has same issues but worse then me, that it is hard to get...

    Rant!

If you are a NCO then yes you are required to have a complete the record (or if you have had a annual within 90 days) NCOER to final out.

NLT date set for Final Out

No you won't be able to just hang out. Your final day is set once retirement services contacts you and you will then set up your clearing times and retirement time. If you don't take leave then you will only be given enough time to get retirement ceremony and clear.

Average time out after recieving orders?

I know the Army side is a 90 day max No Later Than date from the day you come onto TRANSPROC list. Like for me I am waiting on my name to pop on the list. I don't plan on taking transition leave or ptdy. I am selling my leave back, which is 60 days max, but I have been on leave for past 3 weeks...
