Thanks Ron! I was aware of CRSC but left that out of my question because no one ever talks about the time between retirement and when CRSC finally kicks in as a guard member. Just wanted to see if i had a few extra bucks a month after VA offset.

Hello, I can not seem to get a clear answer to my question. I was found 80% TDRL. I only have 12 years 8 months of service all guard time (with 3 title 10 deployments OCONUS). Will I be entitled to a retirement check as soon as my retirement date starts or do I have to wait until I am age 60...

I am in the same boat. My claim closed Saturday and 4 of my previous VA ratings have the same verbiage (Disability Evaluation System (DES)) next to it, and they did not before. I guess whoever updates first will know and pass it along.

It's in the hands of the VA right now. I've requested ratings outside of the ides process and it can take 15 to 30 days to move to the next step on ebenfits. My case for ides was opened on ebenefits on 23 Oct and closed 26 Oct. It also depends on which RO you case gets sent to.
