Separated & should have been retired

I was medically separated from ARNG in 09 and didn't realize until recently that all the "med board" talk was the MMRB NOT MEB/PEB. So many things got screwed up with my discharge but the biggest is that they never made a LOD determination and processed it as "non duty related " (NDR) when it was an AD condition (hearing loss and knee). So I never got severance or retirement. Current VA rating is 100% P&T for PTSD with housebound allowance for knee, tinnitus, hearing loss, & sleep apnea. We are planning to appeal mainly for the Tricare eligibility. Anyone go through something similar?
