I'm on TDRL for depression and suicidal ideation/attempt. I got a call from VES 2 days ago and my appointment is set upnext week. My exam will be done by a non VA doctors. I don't know what to expect for the exam.
Should be I be perfectly honest with the doctor and tell everything? I did that last time with my therapist and got sent to hospitalization which made me more stressful..and I'm terrified that they will send me again.

It's likely a routine future exam for your MH condition. If you down play things, I would argue it'd be more stressful possibly losing TDRL.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Are routine future exams different from Re evaluation exam? The lady on the phone did tell me it was a routine exam.

I am not familiar with TDRL reevaluations. I know VES is a contractor VA uses in support of disability exams. I believe policy now is if put on TDRL you will have a Routine Future Exam at 6 months of TDRL. Assuming this is your TDRL condition, it's very likely this exam would have implications to your continuance on TDRL, discharged with severance, or returned to duty. Best wishes.

I am assuming you did not file a claim.

Ebenefits might have a claim open for RFE -- Routine Future Exam.

Looks like it could be from the VA or TDRL. TDRL you attend to get emails and phone calls from a peblo or TDRL coordinator this sound like more of a VA routine exam.

Yeah it was from a civlian hospital that works with VA. And the lady told me on the phone told me it was a routine exam. I just assumed it was a reevaluation exam.
