    VA claim assistance

the claim itself seems to speak for itself, but we have been told time and time again: rule #1: claim what you can prove rule #2: never ever ever ever [their words, not mine] file a VA claim without a VSO again, we just want to make sure he receives the ratings he should get without having to...

no need to apologize at all, charlie! you were such a wealth of information when he was going through the medboard process so i had a feeling you may have misread OR knowing me, my words just came off in such a way. he just felt like he didn't get a fair shake during the medboard with the board...

    transitioning during covid-19 - questions.

as far as working directly with the VA goes, we've been told that this isn't the best idea and it's best to work with a VSO if at all possible. [obviously we do not know because we've never gone through this before] but he is currently looking into what he needs to do in order to sign up for...

    transitioning during covid-19 - questions.

i'm not sure what you mean - i wasn't implying that the VA made the decision to find him fit - we know where those decisions came from. what i was saying is that given the experience he had with the FPEB, etc. he would like guidance/assistance with this to get the rating he deserves. sorry if it...

I don't even know if you'll read my response considering you've threatened to leave the forum because of the answers you received, but in case you do, I'd love to share my husband's story with you because they're somewhat similar in certain ways. My husband's neurologist, for a little over a...

    question about medboard and reserves

thanks so much for your reply. i don't believe he will be in the reserves immediately, he just turned in his c-way to see if he would be able to get in for when he gets out of active duty in the next several months. not sure if that makes any sense. does this mean that although he is...
