Wonder why they no longer need an exam that was requested, by them?

Update: There is a request on my Va.gov and ebennys that says "Exam Request-Processing" and "Status-No longer needed" Any clues what this is?

I also had a Peripheral Nerves Conditions (not including Diabetic Sensory-Motor Peripheral Neuropathy) DBQ Completed.

I called and spoke with someone at the VA. I was told that the claim is finished partly and they have sent me a determination letter. The reason that it shows not complete on Ebennys is because the increase claim for right leg restless leg syndrome was deferred for "reading of a complex...

No, the other issues where increases and were already service connected and are still showing the original ratings. Shows Prep for Decision now. Completion dates are listed as 7/2019-11/2019

So this is weird. My total disability shows as 80% in ebennys. I received the back pay for the increase. But, the claim still shows as review of evidence and the completion dates are now 8/2019-12/2019. There has been no movement in the other issues listed in the claim for an increase.

Just checked VA.gov letter generator. Shows total disability has been increased up to 80% as of March 1. But Ebenefits shows 70% for Major depressive disorder, 80% total, but claim is back at review of evidence? I had an increase in for my lumbar radiculopathy and restless leg syndrome.

    Another Nerve/Back Injury Rating Question

I am SCed for lower back issues and radiculopathy. 2 separate DBQs were done, one for the lower back and one for peripheral nerves. Have the other DBQ completed. 10% sounds about right unless you have significant weakness, atrophy, foot drop. Then it will go up. Have you had an EMG done?

Well. Claim status on Ebenefits now says Review of Evidence and estimated completion date is 8/19-12/19. It was previously at Prep for Decision.

    Temp 100% question

So if I read that correctly, I will be entitled as the doctor said that I will out of work at least 2 months. I have to put in the claim after I receive the paperwork from the doctor that shows dates and expected timeline. But, it is a regular claim, meaning it will take the VA’s average of 125...

    Temp 100% question

I will most likely be having surgery for SC L5S1 issues. Surgery is expected to be a "birdcage" fusion done by a civilian neuro. When should I put in for the temp 100%? What should I expect? What is the process like? What should I expect as far as timing?

So far, VA.gov says evidence was reviewed 3/20. Not other update since that. Expected completion date is September sometime. Claim was started 2/4/19. Thank you and Good luck to you Rfaber!

    Possible L5/S1 fusion

What is typical rating? Does it still go by ROM?

Any positive experiences with C&P exams? In general or specifically with back claims

Its all rated on range of motion, so stop moving when the pain increases if you have constant pain. DO NOT force yourself to go as far as you absolutely can.

    Radiculopothy and Restless Leg Syndrome

Anyone know if this will be separated into 2 different ratings now? I was rated at 10% for each of the following: - lumbar radiculopathy of the left lower extremity to include restless leg syndrome (previously rated as DC 8620) - right leg restless leg syndrome (previously rated as DC 8620)
