20 calendar days after submission I received the decision. Army NG

VA ratings changed in VA.gov site and things are not correct

MSC is supposed to discuss it with the supervisor. It was a referred condition that is included in my PEB but left out of VA final rating. Initially I was told to file another claim, but now they say give them a few days to try to figure it out. We will see....

VA ratings changed in VA.gov site and things are not correct

Army NG.... So I have been rated 90% Dod and have a retirement date of 03 Feb 21. VA ratings should be 100% based off PEB and previous ratings; 60/50/30/Left arm 20/Right arm 20/20/10. VA ratings came back 90% missing the 30% condition. Additionally, they dated them all effect 15 Oct 2020...

    Med board question

IF the Army finds out, they COULD process you under Chapter 7 administrative separation secondary to fraudulent entry.... or they could deem you unfit due to a condition that EPTS and discharge you under medical....or they could process you through the MEB, either finding you fit or unfit as if...

    Traditional NG timeline

I can only assume, based on what my case manager told me, that there will be back pay to the date of the claim for those of us that were "veterans" and had dd214's at the time of IDES. Let's hope! That should be about 20+ grand for me!

    Traditional NG timeline

Still no word on my VA ratings. Seems odd this close to the end and being NG.

    Traditional NG timeline

Mine were sent to me by the PEBLO from United States Army Physical Disability Agency. I am completely cleared from my unit and placed in a Medical Transition Unit, so the only clearing I have left to do is the retirement out briefing.

QTC exams showing up in Tricare online

I'm NG Army and mine never showed up. The only way I saw mine was when the MEB completed and I was given the NARSUM that included the exams.

    Completed Army NG traditional timeline

PEB is complete. I am still awaiting VA to complete their ratings. Very strange situation.

    May be a silly question

Thank you. It seems that some documents I have gotten and the DA 199 have been misleading. Good to have sources.

    May be a silly question

How would one calculate high three base pay for a guardsman? I see what you are saying but also see what my DA 199 states. 75% of monthly base pay...or percent of the retired pay base.

    May be a silly question

But the question I was looking to get answered seemed to be on one of your comments...."on day of retirement".

    May be a silly question

I was pretty much told that I will get 75% of my base pay which is my current rank and years of service using my retirement points divided by 360. That would make me O3E with 8 years of service. From my 199: Although the Soldier's disability is presently rated at 90 percent, the Soldier will...

    May be a silly question

Since I am guard the higher should be the percentage instead of high three base pay. Which would be based off of the current pay charts at time of retirement correct? My 199 says that DFAS will calculate my pay. I'm just unsure of when they calculate that...now or at the time of my actual...

    May be a silly question

Will my retirement pay be based on the actual date of my retirement and the current pay chart at that time? I am just wondering if the new NDAA will be passed and my pay will be calculated on the proposed 2021 pay...it amounts to about $250 more a month.

    Ratings

I was simply commenting on your statement, "One can look at it this way, it's probably has the highest rating in your proposed VA rating". It is not always the case that a referred condition is the highest rating.

    Ratings

That is not always the case. I have seen plenty of people get 10/20/30% DoD and 100% VA. You can look on https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/CFR-2011-title38-vol1/xml/CFR-2011-title38-vol1-part4.xml#seqnum4.71a Find your conditions and take a guess at how they were rated. Or wait until you get...
