So on december 2nd i signed my paperwork to accept my finding from my formal board i had in DC i was told it takes about 2-3 weeks for pers to either accept or change the out date i requested. Its been 2 weeks and trying to call around to see if there is any update on that paperwork and no one...

Well got my formal board findings back about a week and a half ago 10% unfit combat zone incurred not bad considering that my pysch doctors fucked me over on their report. So now im just waiting on bupers to approve my requested out date and then wait for PSD to let me know my out of navy...

thanks, now thier findings do not affect my proposed va ratings do they? because im at 100% proposed va and i dont want that to change

well heres an update for all, after informing the peblos that i want a formal board to go through everything again and hopefully change their mind on sending me out the door with nothing, got the word the other day that they accepted my appeal and i have my formal board on the 21st of november...

alright i need help with this asap im going today to sign my finialized ratings the va rated me at 100% which is great the dod found me unfit but said that im not ratable because of an accident i had so they are saying that my injuries are due to misconduct but ive had these injuries since 2007...

moneyblind, right now ill most likely appeal the dod's rating cus its bs that its so low gotta shoot for something more for my family and yes my stuff is at the providence office , hopefully i should get a call from secnav peblos about my ratings in a week or two and figure this out.

I would like to think you get back pay but knowing them probably not since you filed it while You were still active they really have to fix there whole system cus when you are on your last day of active duty and the next day your out you should get your check shortly after that not no 1-4 months...

Thanks for the info but you should have your finished ratings before you get out I wOuld think and you shOuldn't have to wait to get paid from the va its such bs having to wait to receive pay from them what are you suppoaed to do if youdon't have enough money to survive till then ya know f ing bs

my question for the group is this: after you either retire or seperated from service do you get payed from the va on your final day of discharged or how long does it take. cus once you sign off on approving the descision that is given to you, you shouldnt have to wait months after your final out...
