    Help with current IDES/LDES regs

Since you are still on active duty you should go through the IDES. Trying to get a rating and VA benefits after getting out can be riddled with issues. If your commander doesn't sign off on it you wouldn't be allowed to go through the LDES. My medical records are all sorts of messed up. It took...

    Help with current IDES/LDES regs

Typically your best bet is to go through the IDES. The LDES is good if you already have a high rating but you have to get approval to go through the LDES. You Typically don't have a choice in which one you go through. Are you still on active duty?

Title 32 Technician Medical Retirement Scenarios (Please limit posts to "Technician Medical Retirements")

There are a lot of variables but 99% of the time a military medical retirement is worth fighting for. Getting the tricare will save you so much money. I got military medical separation with severance and since my injuries were combat related I didn't have to pay taxes and there isn't any VA...

You can normally get your retirement pay or VA pay, which ever is higher. If you are over 50% VA and have 20 years you can qualify for CDRP and collect both pay without any offset.

    Help with current IDES/LDES regs

They shouldn't be any problems. You just have to explain that you don't want to go through the whole process that you've already completed. I didn't have a problem with mine but then everyone was really tired of dealing with me.

    Help with current IDES/LDES regs

As long as the lawyer and the medical commander sign off the memo doesn't really matter. It's really just used to explain why you want to go LDES.

    Help with current IDES/LDES regs

The OSC lawyer and the Medical group commander will sign off on it. LDES is way faster than IDES. In the IDES they can decide that on the day you get your rating for the IDE you injuries aren't that bad and you can have your VA rating lowerd. So if you are already rated 30% for a VA...

    ANG dual status technian

The JAG and the IG are pretty useless from my experience. A well written Congessional is your best option. Once your Congessional is received they have 30 days to respond back with your congressman with there answers. If they find something wrong they will be forced to send a corrective action...

    ANG dual status technian

That's the same thing they told me. They said my condition wasn't in line of duty even though I fell down some stairs while deployed and tore my tendon in my ankle that required surgery. The VA said It was service connected and I had a VA rating but the NGB tried saying it was not service...

    ANG dual status technian

NGB doesn't like to find things in LOD. Your best bet is to put together a really clear and concise explanation of why your injuries are In line of duty and file a congressional. You should include DODI and applicable regulations to explain how your condition fits into those regulations. That...

Anthrax Vaccine & HLA b-27 thru Ft Lewis

Documenting and Rating Spondyloarthropathies Documenting and rating Spondyloarthropathies is often not understood very well by MEB, PEB and VA officials. Proper documentation in MEBs and TDRL review examinations is critical. Per DoDI 1332.38, MEBs and TDRL review examinations physicals are...

When will I receive final pay/severance?

I'm Guard and I've been waiting 2 months
  17. J

So does this mean I am out of the army in 11 days? If so when do you think I will receive my orders? I am National Guard.

National Guard is weird. When i got separated from the Guard they didn't notify me until i only had 5 days left. I didn't even get my separation order until a couple weeks after my separation date. You will get notified by your PEBLO and should be done really soon

    Air guard timeline?

That one condition is probably be sent up to determine if its unfitting. I don't know how they would put you on medcon without a LOD. I'm in Texas and they told me if you get separated from the military side before 1 October they are going under the previous rule that allowed you to stay on...

    PLEASE HELP

The M21 is the medical list of unfitting conditions and what is waiverable. Combat related is really good. Say the MEB says your condition of PTSD is service connected and unfitting, then if you go through the legacy system they would rate your condition the same as the VA rated it. With combat...
