..and you're all happy about that retirement. But then you notice that retroactive Tricare is available. And then the fun begins.

So, after about a year of beating my head against a wall, I finally found out that we have to go to the Defense Health Agency to get a timely filing waiver.

Fed up, because my "drop dead date" or DEERS one year from this letter is tomorrow, I ended up in Senator Sharrod Brown's office. Yes, I am making progress, however it's sketchy at best, downright stonewalling at worse.

If anyone else is having this issue, or has gone over their year; could you respond or send me an email at [email protected]? I am also suggesting that you contact your Senator/Reps office about this, as this is the first time Brown's office heard of this issue.
