I know that this is an Army forum, but I couldn't find the Air Force one. My question is does every LOD go through the JAG before it leaves the base? Thanks in advance!

Every LOD does not go through the JAG. If it is initiated by your local med squadron and it does not affect the performance of your duties, it will be signed by the wing commander and sent back.
If you hurt yourself while TDY or on orders, the LOD will be initiated by the local unit and will most likely have to go through the JAG review. It had to do with the Title 10 - Title 32 division.
