Air Force TR, have previous VA ratings, but have a new rating for COPD. MEB possible?

I have been in the Air Force for 17 years (10 active), with two deployments to OEF with exposure to burn pit, and resultant COPD w/asthma diagnosis from the VA, effective August 2021. Previous obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) rating effective October 2014, was combined with copd/asthma per VA rules. I have been fully open with ARC about my conditions, and was recently placed on a profile for PT test and duty restrictions (non-3 coded thus far). I have been on several profiles for my other conditions in the past, but this is the first one in which COPD was included. I am a traditional drilling reservist, an am wondering if it is possible that they MEB me? A lot of the information I am finding is for AGRs, TRs on active orders, etc. not a lot of info I can find for TRs not on orders.

Question wall follows...
Does COPD automatically cause a MEB to be initiated?

Will I need to initiate a follow up with military Dr?

My profile is only good until July, I assume I should request another profile at that time?

Is the 469 final when I receive it/is there a chance it will be "3" coded at some point (COPD doesn't just go away as far as I know)?

Are there any steps I need to take now?

Would my previously rated conditions be considered LOD since they are all from my active duty time, and would they get a DoD rating should it go into MEB process?

Would my ETS be extended due to an MEB taking place (I assume that would be the case but would like to confirm)?

Thanks in advance :)

Just wanted to add, in the interest of full transparency... My body and mind are just not in the condition they once were, and honestly it has been very difficult for me to "hang in there" primarily due to my medical and MH conditions. A medical retirement would of course be the preferable way to exit, however, being close to 20 years (I have 17 yes 6 months TIS), I would rather ride it out until I hit 20 than walk away now with nothing except my VA benefits.

If you have 15 or more good years you don't have a lot to lose getting out via MEB. Just don't ETS. If they kick you out via medical they will issue you a 15 year letter to retire for a non regular retirement. If you ETS you get nothing. A 15 year letter is no different than a 20 year letter. The only thing you lose out on is CRDP when start receiving your non regular retirement.

If you want out you can push it by submitting a package for a profile. Since you are AF reserve you have control over your medical. You need restrictions that don't allow you to deploy or do your job. That is your best way to nudge it towards them starting to decide if you are at the MRDP.

Okay, thank you for the info. I have more questions, but am awaiting word on re-enlistment right now.
