Hello, I’ve been lurking for a bit but now decided to post. Here is my timeline thus far. I have 20 good years for the guard and 15.5ish AD. I got sick with Covid in late 2022 and as a side effect ended up with eosinophilic asthma. I have several other issues, but this is what the PCM said was disqualifying and triggered the MEB. I am on biologics and several inhalers due to it. I am FL Guard; we don't have an MTF just a clinic which is mainly for documentation. My PCM is navy at NAS Jax and Moody AFB MTF is handling the MEB. Hopefully not much longer.


1 Mar 23 - Diagnosed with Asthma after several tests.
15 Jun 23 - Asthma listed as Disqualifying condition by PCM after months of tests and treatment attempts.
4 Aug 23 - AMRO board reviewed case, determined to review again on 18 Sep 23 pending more documentation from PCM.
18 Sept 23 - AMRO board approves and determines case needs to be forwarded to NGB for review.
20 Nov 23 - CC impact statement submitted to MDG.
5 Dec 23 - NARSUM completed.
12 Dec 23 - Case sent to NGB for fitness determination.
28 Dec 23 - Case returned needing documents from MDG.
29 Dec 23 - Case resubmitted to NGB for fitness determination with all needed documents.
25 Jan 24 - FL4 approved at NGB, sent to Moody AFB for PEBLO assignment.
21 Feb 24 - IRILO completed, full MEB ordered, PEBLO contacted me for initial briefing.
23 Feb 24 - PEBLO in brief completed.
28 Feb 24 - Emailed by VA MSC to initiate records review.
29 Feb 24 - First phone appt w/ MSC, claims submitted.
12 Mar 24 - First C&P Exam. (6 total)
28 Mar 24 - Last C&P Exam.
2 Apr 24 - All DBQs uploaded to Tricare online.
 
UPDATE: 17 Apr 24 - spoke to my MDG and they said they sent an amended NARSUM to my PEBLO on 16 Apr 24. Still no word from the PEBLO.

Just out of curiosity, where do I look on Tricare online to see if my DBQ's have been loaded and will the documents just say DBQ?
I also appreciate you sharing your timeline

They will be in your documents section. Some of mine uploaded within a day or so and some took longer.
 
UPDATE: just got my 618, MEB case file, IMR election form, and other docs. MEB says refer to IPEB. I have my briefing with the PEBLO tomorrow. Updated timeline below.

UPDATE: Va.gov shows my claim closed as of 20 May. I called twice yesterday and they said there was not a letter generated yet. Going to call again today to see if there is a letter they can email to me.

Thank you, after four calls to the VA and no letter I called my MSC. He said to email him as he had someone on the other line. I did and within 30 minutes he replied and let me know I’m proposed at 100% P/T through the VA!!!! Now I just gotta wait for the PEBLO to reach out with my DoD rating. To say I’m excited is an understatement. A few more weeks and I’ll be on terminal and time to start healing.
 
UPDATE: So, it's been weird. My claim showed closed on the 20th and the MSC told me I was proposed 100% P/T VA on the 22nd of May. I heard nothing for days and checked in with the PEBLO several times. The VA kept saying they had no letter to send. Finally, on the 31st out of nowhere I had a new claim on VA.gov. It was for a BEL. After a little research I learned it was a Benefits Explanation Letter. It took 5 days but that claim closed on 4 June. Today I reached back out to the VA and was able to get them to email me a letter. It was my proposal confirming the MSC saying I was proposed 100% P/T. I also called my PEBLO and they said they were waiting on the AF FM 365 but had not gotten it from AFPC. Just as I was typing this I got a system generated email from MyFSS stating it has been sent to the PEBLO so hopefully they call/email me today!

Congratulations! Once you retire and have your VA ratings finalized with your award letters consider applying for CRSC to help recoup monies lost due to VA offset. If you read up on CRSC and qualify then its best to apply right away when you have all of your paperwork in front of you:)

Yea that is the plan. I am awaiting a meeting with my CC to start out-processing and such. While I have been waiting, I have been building a binder with requirements and a "to do" list for CRSC

APRIL 2, 2024-Mine said RVSR review Closed
I'm not sure what they're doing. I'm reserve and I got 100% P/T before I went into the MEB
