ALL- quick question to the Forum of vet's here- Is any other US veteran, not part of Gulf Coast VA System-VISN16, having success with their US DVA assigned psychologist placing consults for specialty clinics within the US VA system such as Neurology, Speech Pathology, Memory Testing, etc....?

Apparently Gulf Coast VA System/VISN16 does not allow its psychologist's, no matter training, experience, etc...to place specialty clinic consults- such as some of the above!

This is odd considering, per media, some states are now allowing properly trained and certified psychologist to actually prescribe Mental Health medications. Additionally, psychologists routinely testify in State and Federal Court about many things not only affecting veterans but non-veterans lives. among many other things they have both the Government and Public trust!

Thanks ALL- just curios if anyone else been able to get into a major US VA specialty clinic with referral from assigned US VA Psychologist......?

(PS still issues this web-site...)

ALL- just thought I would ask- if anyone noticed any change in wait times- i.e. improvement- their VA System for a "specialty clinic" consult, specifically those US VA Priority Group ! Patients?

Apparently in Gulf Coast VA/VISN16 nothing in fact has changed, Priority Group I Patient I know now waiting going on two weeks to hear back on "specialty clinic" consult, but not surprised as apparently whole lot VA employees been off recently due perhaps non- US Federal Holiday of "Madi Gras' and some very bad local storm weather..... ???????

Please see following web-links below for example and information only if interested:

- Mardi Gras in Mobile, Alabama - Wikipedia

- VA star ratings show improvement for some hospitals, decline for others

Anyway ALL- could be wrong as usual, and would love to hear others experiences......and if any positive change any other VA System/VISN out there???

PS: In US Military, used to anyway, specifically "forward deployed" units had to make sure even during heaviest US Holiday's, maintained enough operational strength on hand vs. those on leave/pass cover any real world contingencies, that might occur...

Also, per various actual VA employee sources, some have supposedly heard, appears to be some current and ongoing conflict, at least within Gulf Coast VA/VISN16, between US DVA Professional Health Providers and Admin Staff types... i.e clerks either not processing forms, consults request, etc.. or suddenly changing format of such forms in such a way confusing to Health Care Professionals do not have lot of time between seeing patients and filling out endless forms..as well as MAS Supervisors claiming going to fix things but never due as evidenced by VA Health Care Providers themselves, allegedly- IF ANY TRUE, whom exactly is in charge of patient care at the US VA- in particular Gulf Coast VA/VISN16- Certified Health Care Professionals or simply overstaffed(?) Purely ADMIN TYPES - as say US Military non-combat arms types, so to speak....????

Think more than an interesting question, if any of above true, but as usual could be wrong and if so can withstand-welcome any correction..???

ALL- it must simply be a Gulf Coast VA/VISN16 issue that a simple "specialty clinic" consult cannot be processed nor scheduled in under two working weeks as well as multiple other issues, such as addressed in PEB Forum Thread "Anybody Else Having "Security" Issues Signing On New US DVA VTC System- Supposedly 'ACME'....?"- and being able to sign-in without facial recognition (as well other more secure methods) and cartoon character names with an "ampersand" sign [&} in the middle? How many veterans actually have an & sign in their name...??? (If interested in "ampersand" please see for example only web-address: ampersand - Google Search )

Additionally, in keeping with Fischer House, supposed issues Gulf Coast VA/VISN16, another vet actually having way too many issues obtaining a simple rental car in the Lower Alabama Region, unlike anywhere else CONUS-OCONUS..supposedly???? (For reference please see, if interested PEB Forum Thread "VA to receive new Fisher Houses in Michigan, Colorado and Nebraska, which offer temporary lodging to Veterans' families and caregivers" by Thread starter Physical Evaluation Board Forum Start dateFeb 14, 2019 )

Does anybody know if their is any "vaild" or "up to date" Congressional for disabled "vets" and rules regarding rental cars as is apparently very hard and/or expensive obtain one under age "25-years" per numerous internet sites...(please if interested see below web-links for information and example only)?????

- Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO)

Any information on US Congressional Legislation- past or present- assisting veterans with CONUS-OCONUS US owned Rental Car Agencies would be greatly appreciated...if it exists....????

Thanks and hopefully a SuperModerator can illuminate this issue much clearer.....???????

(PS: Still some issues this web-site......)

ALL- sadly a local veteran of Gulf Coast VA/VISN16 still having issues with a US Rental Car Service branch office location the Foley-Daphne-Fairhope AL area of the Eastern Shore Region of Mobile, AL.... and was hoping someone could "illuminate" whether there are in fact any Congressional Provisions/ safeguards for veterans renting cars form US "Flag" Carrier Auto Rental Companies both CONUS-OCUNUS and in particular those veterans whose injuries require "special requirements" to drive and are under age 25-years old?

Furthermore, does anyone know how a US veteran or citizen contacts US Government Senior Officials Offices such as and for example only the following web-link: Defense Travel Management Office ? Is there some kind of "one source" directory out there veterans and US citizens can access with information like this?

In past some vets this site, whom were able to contact the Office of The Director US VA directly, for example, actually achieved positive results not only for themselves but other veterans as well.....

Thanks.....and hopefully someone can possible clarify this issue....but could simply be wrong and please correct me if so....????

Well was hoping someone could have shed so light on veterans rights and US Rental Car Companies by US Flag Carrier Rental Companies both with and external to the United States..as well as if a "one source" government directory- under "open government" as so many claim to contact the head of a Federal Agency......???? (If "open government" then why have to contact member of Congress to get in touch directly the head shed a Federal Agency.....hummph...????)

Anyway since no response, or perhaps some, as I know they do perhaps researching- SuperModerators- might be interested in the below for example and information purposes only:

- death by rental car + book - Google Search

- the coming civil war + book - Google Search (posted as personally do not subscribe this notion..however there are those out their that perhaps do or concerned about such)

- Business Plot - Wikipedia (Little known part of US History...)

Thanks, and hope somebody much more educated on this matter can in fact assist..... could be wrong and please correct me if so????

Interesting- a vet, I know from "no-where" asked, allegedly a US Rental Car Company staff is knew of any Federally mandated US Rental Car "protections" for vets and simply Rental Car Company staff did not know of any....like "vets" under 25-years old being able rent car at normal rates as those above 25-years old, etc.... or if anything fell under "US Soldiers and Sailors Act".... so guess simply nothing here for US Vet's may have issues renting a car, or require special requirements due to their injuries to drive a rental car - i.e. sort of like all the Federally mandated "handicapped" provisions required in "public places," etc........

Anyway pretty interesting, any those interested, but simply could be wrong and/or Rental Car staff allegedly spoke vet-from above, misinformed by their "parent" company.....

Hopefully, a SuperModerator this web-site can in fact illuminate......?????

PS: Reminds me kind of Iraq and "psyhc ops" with bands like "AC/DC"..."Metallica" etc......so if interested please see below web-link example only:
