Currently going through the PEB process (reserve) and just got ratings back from a claim started in October 2015. Originally denied VA ratings for shoulder, neck and back injuries, appealed it and turned in jump logs, witness statements and valor citations for related injures. Was just granted some ratings, 20% on both shoulders and wouldn't move past pain on the exam. I've had surgeries, major arthritis, labral tears, bicep tendon tears, impingement etc. I was under the impression that the dominant arm would be rated higher. I'm not trying to be greedy but i need to have both shoulders replaced and was just referred to the MEB for shoulder and other issues.
