Camp Lejeune timeline

You gotta be on a government computer. Not sure what the Navy's got but it only works on MCEN computers for me. https://edq.med.navy.mil/LIMDU Make sure there's the "s" next to http or it will give you a communication error. View attachment 10741View attachment 10742View attachment 10743

Took these photos of LIMDU Smart for another motivator on here. It shows everything up to the submission of your medboard to the PEB.

When you input the link it will redirect you to limdusmart.health.mil when you log in with a CAC.
I appreciate it , I will try it tomorrow God willing on the work computer

Well this is curious... I got an email from the VBA stating I am gonna have another C&P exam from VES.

It's about my deferred claim of CFS. VES received the request yesterday and they let me know it's exclusively for CFS which was diagnosed in my head-to-toe exam. I called the VA number right away (who wouldn't) and they said I wouldn't need to attend the exam, so I'm assuming it's an ACE exam for whatever reason. The agent is submitting a request for clarification from the regional office, currently on hold while they send that request over. My head-to-toe exam definitively diagnosed me with CFS and checked off boxes indicative of a 60% rating.

I've set up an appointment with the regional office and the agent I spoke to requested the clarification by mail, so whichever comes first. I was advised to cancel the appointment with VES, so I'm gonna give them a call and inform them what's going on.

VES clarified that nothing is set in stone yet. The VA requested that a rework is done for that claim, and pending review they will have me go to another examiner or they will simply pull the info from the previous exam and resubmit it under more workable terms I guess. Seems pretty weird that everything else was accepted without a hitch but a single claimed issue is getting caught up, I really wonder why that's the case. On the decision letter, CFS was deferred for "clarification from the VA examiner", so I guess we'll find out what happens. I'm not quite sure if the PEB will be willing to close my case with a decision until the VA is completely finished, but the BEL is already in the hands of the PEB so it's anyone's guess as to how this will shake out.

Without CFS being considered my ratings wouldn't change at all. I'm not alarmed by this but it's pretty annoying having to consider exams all over again.

Findings came back my narsum was accepted on April 22 found unfit good luck out there

VES just confirmed that if any exam is needed the only thing it would be for is CFS. Everything else was returned and accepted by the VA, with this being the only exam they kicked back for clarification. Fingers crossed it was some admin error that they can fix internally: I'm really not trying to go down to Wilmington again just for a 10 minute conversation I already had.

Waiting is hell lol. @jay3033 accepted on the 22nd and got his back, assuming you still haven't gotten yours either? Lucky number 17.... lol
Maybe he's a SNCO  but no nothing on my end. I honestly could get delayed over this fuckery so I would consider my case abnormal at this point.

I've had zero issues with my PEB process, so I just genuinely believe they finish up the QA in waves based on rank lol. I'm just a lowly Cpl after all.

Yes and permanent
You wouldn't happen to be a Sergeant would you? Lol. Congrats man!!!

I'll keep you guys posted. I emailed my MSC to get answers but I realize that was probably the most useless thing I could've done.

Boy was I right.

My email:
Good afternoon,

I received a benefits estimate letter from the VA and it stated that my CFS claim was deferred due to more information being needed from the examiner. The VBA emailed me stating the following:

"Our records show that you filed a disability benefits claim and may need to attend a Compensation & Pension (C&P) examination to complete your claim.
In the coming days, you will receive a phone call from VES. We have included all their contact information, along with how it will display on your landline device, to confirm your examination appointment(s). At the time of scheduling please inform VES if you have any accessibility needs."

I called both VES and the VA hotline, both are saying that this is a rework at the request of the VA and I will likely not need to come in for any examination, but was notified in the event I would need to come in for a re-examination. If you had any further information on this, I would really appreciate it.

I would also appreciate it if you could verify my current status on the VTA tracker if you have access. I was informed my case should be coming to a close with findings this week.

Response:
It appears there is an exam request for VES. They may contact you for an appointment, dependent on the providers decision. I do not know when your findings will be back from DoD. The Peblos will contact you as soon as your findings are back and go over with you in person.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I'm a SNCO and most people aren't in the office this week. My finding s on my paperwork came back on June 5th but they just presented it to me. Also they said it's based off how many claims you have and the complexity of the claims. Mine was obvious since my referring condition was 100%.

Fuck. I had 23 claims I think. See y'all in July :(

No jokes though I can tell you were pretty worried about the process. I'm glad you're on the way out of it, congrats and hope you find peace.

Thanks. This process has so many flaws that could be fixed with just communication. Atleast tell us within 5 days if we are found fit or unfit and not make us wait months for it. I was more concerned when I kept seeing everyone being found fit but I think if your over 50 days since you signed your narsum you should be in the clear

Does anyone know if you have to do a PFT once being declared unfit on the PEB?

Your medboard paperwork on LIMDU Smart should expressly state "Do not participate in PFT/CFT". Get on a government computer and go to edq.med.navy.mil/LIMDU and scroll down where it says "EMEBR file" and click it. Then to DES recommendations.

I saw that but since everything is complete then I wonder if that info goes away
