Camp Lejeune timeline

Good Afternoon,

My PEB was also accepted on 17Apr24. I just hit up my IDES lawyer and she informed me I was found unfit on 07May24. She also indicated the PEB has requested my proposed ratings from the VA. It’s still a waiting game but I’m one step closer. I figured since we were all accepted on 17Apr24, your timelines are the same/similar.
Does the paralegal have access to that information as well?

I spoke directly to my attorney, I’m not sure if their paralegal does. You need to ask them to check the “VTA Tracker.” Not sure what the acronym stands for but that’s what the attorney said she check.

Thanks I'm a couple days behind you. When you got your MOL notification about your peb being accepted did you go off your BIR entry for the date under duty status for the peb or off of when you got a message saying it was accepted?

17Apr24 is when I received the message on MOL; however, my package was submitted on 09Apr24. I believe my BIR entry shows 09Apr24. My previous post regarding my acceptance date was based on when I received the MOL notification. I think that answers your question?

Yes it does mol doesn't update daily and I noticed mine was accepted 4 days before I even got the message

I just got the "decision phase" update from the VA. I'm really hoping this means I'm unfit, but per usual I left the call with more questions than answers.

Has anyone received there finding from peb that was accepted in March or april?

Did they tell you your proposed ratings?

Hi.
Called Jeff last week on May 10th.
My case was sent Mar 20th.
Anyone else on here losing their minds? Lmao .
Jeff said it’s in QA, and it should be done in a week, or a week and a half.
What does that mean exactly? Lmao.
And is that the time frame for you guys?
Thanks.
Navy corpsman btw.

My guess is they're checking for any mistakes before offering you to sign for acceptance of your ratings.

But yes, definitely losing my mind a bit. Timeline is somewhat close.

What mistakes would that even be? Lmao.
Like as in they are giving too much?
Or giving too little?
For the VA or DoD rating?

Clear unmistakable errors like pyramiding ratings or assigning the wrong %, too little or too much. Would be pretty insane if you were assigned 100% only to realize the specifics included major ratings for two things that can't have separate ratings.

Imagine getting out and getting that percentage, only to have it revoked a couple months later as a CUE.

Your DoD rating, assuming you chose IDES, is going to have the same parallel rating that the VA assigned for whatever referred condition got you on the board in the first place.

The QA would effectively verify the VA ratings, which in turn verify the DoD rating. That is my understanding.

Gotcha
Thank you.
Ya I was for PTSD, I found out for PTSD alone I am 100% disabled.
So I hope they don’t fuck with it.
Is the main thing (:

Also had shoulder surgery, have DDD, flat feet, migraines etc.
all referred conditions as well.
I have / had a lot of shit going on.
But for an FMF corpsman I’ve noticed it’s not uncommon.
