Case: Mebboard active duty
20 years service = 4300 = final 3 pay 2.5%x20 =2150 (50%) final 3
DOD disability =30%(4300) =1290
VA DISABILITY =50% = 893.4 veteran alone

In my case assumption is that I get
My $2150 from retirement pay (dfas)and my va disability of $893?
Total 3043 vs 1290 DOD disability

Can you tell me if that is correct in my case.
Thank you

Hello,

I also answered your question in reply to your message. However, this is a better venue.

Comments.

1. Your longevity multiplier is more (50%) than the disability multiplier (30%) so the 30% will be ignored completely.

2. You will receive 2150 gross retired pay plus 893.40 VA comp each month. 3043.40 TOTAL

Some of your retired pay will be considered CRDP.
