Hello,

a. Retired pay minus amount of VA comp, 2609 - 2286.96 = 322.04
b. 2609/0.75 = 3478.67 high three
c. 14 yrs AD x 0.025 = 35% longevity multiplier
d. 3478.67 x 0.35 = 1217.53 longevity portion of retired pay
e. CRSC ceiling 1217.53 - 322.04 residual retired pay = 895.49 CRSC
f. Based on you info, DFAS will pay:
--895.49 CRSC
--322.04 Residual retired pay
Total = 1217.53
NOTE: The combination of CRSC and residual retired pay for CH 61 retiree cannot exceed the dollar amount of the longevity portion of retired pay.

Thank you; your remarks made my day.

There are several others on this board who spend much of their time assisting others. Chaplaincharlie, oddpedestrian, and Gsflower to name a few.
