CRSC Question

I have a question for the group. I medically retired (100% VA) in 2019 (SEP). I had 12y 6m AD and retired as an E7. My PEBLO told me to apply for CRSC after my retirement date was posted. I did this and was denied. My question is this. If my medical record specifically states an injury occurred during a training course (Combative training) that is listed as an approved function under simulating war. Whats the procedure on filing a petition for review or if the denial is already expired should I resubmit?

The reconsideration form 12E, is at https://www.hrc.army.mil/asset/13251 <—-link

The form includes: “Please note: Submit only the new and substantive documentation that supports this request. All previously submitted documents will be included when reviewing your claim for reconsideration.
Please note: We do not address Individual Employability (IU), changes to dependents or pay inquiries.”

If you submitted your first application prior to your actual retirement, your application would not have been approved.
