Are there an AF members out there that can give me an idea of what to expect in terms of timeline for an MEB? Any and all (helpful) comments appreciated!

anywhere from 6 months to 9 month depending on what you are being refered for. the IDES average is 230 days.

What I would suggest is look at peoples timelines and you can get a rough estimate for yourself. Mine started in July and now I am nearing the end. I am just waiting on the VA ratings and the IPEB.

i'm scrolling through peoples timelines but it's difficult because i dont see many AF personnel, alot of Army and Navy.

Air Force Case Timelines have you looked here? its the one for only air force.

Timelines vary even within the Air Force depending on complexity of your case, number of claims, and if you get a VA DRAS person that doesn't lose your file behind their desk. I have seen some recently being completed, start to finish, within 3 months. That is not typical of most, but it can happen. You best bet is to just keep a positive attitude and roll with it.
