Today after emailing my PEBLO with no answer for the past 2 months I emailed AFPC the following message:
Sir or Ma'am,
My name is XXXXXXXXX. I am currently undergoing a MEB. I am trying to
get a status on my package in your office. I know that it was sent to your
office in late July. My leadership has taken a strong interest in my case
due to the amount of time I have not been able to perform my primary duties (19 months). I have tried to contact my PEBLO on several occasions to get a status with no reply. The PEBLO is currently TDY and their "backup" is on leave. Any info you could give me would be very helpful. Thank you for your time. Have a great day.
The response I recieved was:
your MEB was reviewed by the IPEB the 4th of Sep and has been
sent to the VA for their rating evaluation. Once rec'd the IPEB relooks the case and a final 356 is sent to your PEBLO and you will be briefed on the findings. Should take at least 60 days.
They also CC'd the med group leadership. Which I really don't care. When you have been in my shoes for 19 months you really stop caring what people think. I mean really what do I have to lose? Any thoughts? Does this mean I have been found unfit? Thanks for any info and advice. I get alot of stregth and hope from this forum.
